TBSM Chapter 1Jacobi ran a hand through his hair, letting out a deep sigh. Why was it that every time he stayed late, someone found another murder case for him to work on? Tapping his fingers to a tune coming from his iPod and the tired mumblings of his fellow investigators. Finally, at the ending notes of 'You Shot Me Down', he focused on the case file on his desk, gleaming wickedly in the low lamplight. With a small tortured sigh, he opened it, long pale fingers fiddling with his shirt hem. The case file's contents spilled out onto the desk, and he paled considerably.
